The Client
Our client is a dynamic, small but high technology multinational company with a strong order book and a desire to grow. They design and produce innovative and high value heavy engineering products used primarily in the Oil & Gas and Marine industries. As part of their continued growth they are presently seeking an Electrical Engineer to assist with the electrical assembly of their products.
The Role
We are looking to recruit a multi skilled Electrical Engineer, who will assist during all stages of their in-house manufacturing process from specification, design and integration to machine building and installation. This is a new role due to workload and projects.
You will need to have a strong background in electrical engineering and a familiarity with PLCs would be an advantage, but not a necessity. It is essential that you have strong skills in planning and are well organised with good customer skills. Proven experience in electrical design would be advantageous.
The Person
Must be self-motivated, confident, pro-active and ambitious individual with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Experience in the below would be an advantage:
-Machine Building and Integration
-Wiring Machines
-Wiring Bespoke Control Panels
-Touch screen HMI, AC Inverters, encoders, tacho, DC and servo motors
-Electrical Design knowledge (reading and working with drawings)
-Knowledge of Electrical/Electronic Components
-Working in site situations
